Conducting research, preparing the methodology, programs and didactic materials for distance education

The project was carried out from December 2007 to June 2008

DESCRIPTION

The project was commissioned to the University of Warsaw by the Ministry of National Education as a part of the ministerial project: "Development of methodology, programs and didactic materials for distance education (upper secondary level)" co-financed by the European Social Fund.
The project was completed at the University of Warsaw by the Center for Open and Multimedia Education in collaboration with the staff and graduate students of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, the Faculty of Psychology as well as the Institute of Social Studies and Promotion Office.
Phase I of the project – research:

• the online research on educational needs (national study conducted by an external company)
• a preparation of the summary report - conclusions and guidelines for the second phase of the project
   

Phase II of the project - the development of the methodology

• the development of the methodological concept and the description of the standards for the didactic processes
• the development of the methodology for the various categories of didactic units
   

Phase III of the project - the development of the programs

• the development of the example didactic units in each category
• organization of 4 one-day conferences
