Personal Data Protection – e-training for UW staff

Visit the UW website http://odo.uw.edu.pl/ to find out about new regulations concerning the duties of UW staff, resulting form the introduction of the new Personal Data Protection Act. It concerns in particular the UW units organizing competitions and conferences.

All UW staff are invited to participate in a free-of-charge, self-study online training on Personal Data Processing on the UW educational platform Kampus. You may enrol in the course at any convenient time, writing to the Information Security Administrator (abi@adm.uw.edu.pl). You need to have an USOS account to sign into the course. The topic cover, among others, Personal Data in IT systems, rules of Personal Data Transfer and Processing, Personal Data Confidentiality, technical and organizational means to ensure secure Personal Data Processing etc.

The online training ends with a multiple choice test, the passing of which will make you receive a certificate.
