Welcome to UW – a handful of information for the freshmen

We are pleased to welcome freshmen who start their education at UW. To grant you a good start, here are some tips for e-learning on the Kampus platform, of which COME UW is an administrator.

Library Training and Occupational Safety and Care on-line courses

First of all, all first year students are obliged to take the Library Training and Occupational Safety and Carey courses - either the stationary or on-line way at the Kampus platform. To enter the courses you have to log into the platform with your USOS account (ID number and USOS password). The courses can be found under the "Freshman courses" tab on the main page of the platform.

Placement tests

Students who register for English, French, Spanish, German, Russian or Italian language classes for the first time must solve the placement test (available on the platform under "Language Courses" tab). Its result will help you assess the level of language proficiency and choose the appropriate course group.
