During the following two days COME UW representatives will be presenting the Unit’s achievements at the Virtual University Conference (28-29 June 2017) in Warsaw, this time hosted by the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.
The topics we are going to present will cover: trends in the academic e-education (Izabella Bednarczyk-Bochenek, Dorota Sidor), the new version of the university Moodle e-learning platform (Paweł Kozłowski) and didactic innovations introduced in the English language e-courses at the University of Warsaw (Monika Galbarczyk, Anna Pacholak).
There will also be a panel discussion led by Izabella Bednarczyk-Bochenek and Dorota Sidor on the innovations in the e-learning, the scope of the use of the new technologies, the competences of the units dealing with the e-education, the standards within distance education and the level of e-learning implementation in the academic communities.
The Virtual University conference is run under the joint effort of four leading higher education institutions in Warsaw: the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw University of Technology, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. The Polish Scientific Association for Internet Education holds the patronage on the content of the Conference.
