The new-look university e-learning platform

On the start of the new academic year 2017/2018 we will introduce an updated version of the university e-learning platform Kampus. You will find a number of new functionalities and improvements, both for the e-teachers and for the students.

New functionalities

The most interesting novelties are:

• tools used for preparing interactive resources directly on the platform, without the need to use external software
• the mechanism enabling the learning outcomes to be assigned to resources, which will help tracing students' progress
• a convenient way of open task evaluation, making it possible for the e-teacher to insert corrections directly onto the platform
• greater control over discussion forums contents display

The platform will receive a new graphic layout allowing for the choice of e-classes content display according to the needs of an individual e-teacher.

Deadlines:

1. The new-look platform will be available to e-teachers at the end of June 2017.
2. The current platform will still be in operation under this website address kampus.come.uw.edu.pl until September 2017, and you will have full access to it.
3. At the end of September 2017, the current platform will be substituted with the new one under the website address kampus.uw.edu.pl
4. The old, though archived, platform will still available under kampus2016.come.uw.edu.pl

E-classes on the new platform in the academic year 2017/2018

Soon, in your courses on the current platform, you will see a button letting you request an e-course on the new platform.

You will be able to have your e-classes moved from the current platform into the new one in two ways: (1) so that they are to be launched in the new academic year and (2) so as to solely let you test the new platform funcionalities. The general university (IBIZA) courses and language e-courses will be restored the usual way - without the need to order them.

To conclude, with the beginning of the new academic year, there will be no opportunity to conduct the e-classes on the current platform.

Support for e-teachers

Simultaneously with the launching of the new platform, we will be inviting you to participate in meetings during which we will present the new platform functionalities and improvements. These meetings will be held regularly until October 2017. It will also be possible to undergo an individual training at COME UW office.
