​​A Birthday Cake to celebrate the UW 200th Anniversary

Over the last year the academic community has been celebrating the UW 200th Anniversary. Many UW faculties have organized numerous events and meetings and everyone could find something of interest to them. There have been concerts of Bach's and Chopin's music, UW guided tours, excursions to the mysterious Bielański Forest with UW biologists, or visits to the UW Botanical Garden. You could also choose from a number of lectures, workshops and displays. 

The happy celebrations of the UW 200th Anniversary are just about to end up - on the day of the UW being brought to life. All UW academic teachers, administration staff and students are invited to meet on 19th November 2016, 4.30 p.m., on the main UW Campus in 26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście St. to have a share of the UW Birthday Cake on which 200 candles will be lit. You will also have a chance to enjoy the mapping on the Former UW Library edifice and watch the fireworks.
