E-languages in the air

Online foreign language teaching at the University of Warsaw has been in operation for ten years. During this time over 37 000 students have experienced language learning via the educational platform provided by COME UW. The inital structurally simple e-classes have undergone a significant metamorphosis into highly specialised e-courses. Simultaneously, foreign language placement tests, mock certification exam courses as well as remedial e-courses in 14 languages (Persian, Hindi, Georgian among others) have been developed. It isn't surprising, therefore, that the article describing the achievements of online language teaching at UW, submitted by COME UW educators - Anna Pacholak and Monika Galbarczyk for the 22nd International Conference EUNIS 2016 in Thesaloniki, Greece, has been nominated and received the second prize for the Best Conference Article (from among 70 submitted papers)… We are very happy because of this commendation and encourage you to read the article.
