COME 2015

The end of the year is the time for COME team to summarise this year's achievements, made both the formal way (the yearly report) and the informal (within our team) one, and on this basis to make plans for the future.

Therefore, we share with you what seems to be of particular importance. In relation to KAMPUS, the educational platform run, developed and maintained by COME Kampus (kampus.come.uw.edu.pl), which hosts numerous university online courses, this year's achievement is definitely the record number of user loggings into the platform - almost 9 million.

Students have shown a great interest in the online general university subjects. There has also been a significant development in the field of foreign languages e-education. There are more languages available on the platform, more levels of advancement and more course types (general language e-courses, placement tests, remedial language courses, mock language certification courses).

COME has undertaken the role of an expert and co-ordinator in a number of European Union projects and has co-operated with other University faculties and units (withing the Teaching Innovation Fund among others) as well as with the external partners, e.g. with the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM), the Polish Film Institute (PISF) and the Educational Research Institue (IBE).

This year, we have noted down a higher ministerial evaluation rate of the online magazine (open access) EduAkcja, which we have been publishing since 2010.

The diagrams below show COME's achievements of the year 2015. You will have a chance to read more about the activities of COME UW in a report which will be available in January 2016.

In the meantime, we kindly invite university teachers and lecturers to participate in training sessions on e-learning and to co-operate with our unit.
