Since early 2014, the University of Warsaw (represented by the Centre for Open and Multimedia Education, the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling and the Institute for Social Studies), have run the Warsaw School of Data Analysis, which is soon to end. To sum up the undertaking, the "Intelligent statistical approach - Warsaw School of Data Analysis" conference will be held.
The aim of the project was to raise the data analysis competence level among the Ph.D. students and non-academic participants. To reach this aim, an interdisciplinary training course, run in English and using the distance learning methods and techniques was prepared and applied.
At a conference, the researchers will share their experience in shaping the analytical competences and present the WSAD results. They will also discuss the process of discovering patterns in the data available on the basis of the WSAD participants' research reports.
Anyone interested in the data analysis, i.e. researchers, employers and Ph.D. students, is welcome to participate in the conference.
The conference will take place on 23 March, 2015, 10:00 hrs, in the Centrum Nowych Technologii (Centre for New Technologies) building, 2c Banacha St., Warsaw.
