Online placement tests in foreign languages

1. The placement tests in six foreign languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Russian and Italian) can be found under the following link: Testy poziomujące ==>> . To solve the placement test, you need to sign up for the test module i.e. enter the link given above and follow the instructions. 
   
   The enrolment key is TESTY. Make sure you use CAPITAL LETTERS! The key is also provided in the instruction.
    
2. To log into the platform and take the test you need to enter your ID number as a login and the same password as in the USOS System. Other forms of logging in make it impossible for you to sign in and subsequently have your test results exported to the USOS (Central Token Registration System) and get into the proper language group.
    
3. It is advisable to use the Mozilla Firefox browser while solving the placement test.
    
4. You need to take the placement test in a chosen language only once within the course of studies. 
    
5. The time limit for doing the test is 60 minutes. Be careful to click on "Submit all and finish" button down the page, otherwise you will get no points regardless of the number of correct answers given. Please check the time - the clock down the page will help you. Exceeding the time limit will not only make it impossible for the platform to save the test result but it will bring about the "0" test result.
    
6. It is obligatory for every student to take the placement test regardless of the language proficiency certificates they hold. Only when the placement test result migrates to the USOS registration system, will you be able to register for a chosen language course in your USOS student account.
    
7. The placement test result is only a suggestion as to the language proficiency level of a course to choose. It does not oblige you to take a course at a suggested level and it does not prevent you from signing up for a course at a different (higher or lower) level of advancement. It is your own individual decision which course to enrol in.
    
8. It may take some time for the test results to migrate from the language platform into the USOS registration system. It's a question of a couple of days sometimes so please wait patiently for the outcome. You will be able to register for a course in USOS as soon as the test result has migrated there successfully.
